Enrique Iglesias
Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler on May 8, 1975 in Madrid, Spain is a singer, model, actor, musician and music producer of Spanish origin.
Being the son of famous singer Julio Iglesias and the Latin music of Filipino journalist Isabel Preysler home, Enrique began with the advent of the album that bears his name, launched in 1995. The disc has been successful in Latin Europe, being sold in over six million copies. Until 2000, Enrique has released two albums in Spanish: Vivir (1997) and del Amor haymaker, and one in English, entitled Enrique. The three discography material received over eleven platinum and have been sold in seventeen million copies.
In the last decade, Enrique Iglesias has released four studio albums, three of them in English. Songs such as “Bailamos,” “Hero,” “Be With You” and “Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song) “won the highest positions of special charts, Iglesias is one of the most acclaimed contemporary singers.
Recently, in 2008, Enrique Iglesias has released two compilation albums, containing its most popular songs, one in English – Greatest Hits and one in Spanish – Enrique Iglesias: 95/08 exit. The two discs have been well received by both audiences and critics, posting combined sales of over one million copies.
